One Hour Forever for World of Warcraft: Forever

What we keep, and what we don't

When you upload a file

  • We read OneHourForever.lua, work out your numbers, and delete the file. The file itself is never kept.
  • We keep only the numbers you see on your result page: time per activity, hours, experience, gold, and how long your levels took (with the class that played them).
  • We don't keep character names, chat, your addon's install ID, or anything else from the file.
  • Your upload doesn't add to the crowd numbers other players see.

Your result link

  • Your result lives at a long random link. It isn't listed anywhere, and search engines are asked not to index it.
  • Anyone you give the link to can see the page, so keep it to yourself if you'd rather it stayed private.

If you give us your email

  • Only if you choose to. We store the address and the time you gave it, nothing else.
  • We use it to send your report and to tell you when there's more to see. We never sell or share it.
  • To have it removed, write to onehourforever@bookwerksllc.com.

Everything else

  • Your IP address is used for a short time, in memory, to stop one person flooding the site with uploads. It is never stored.
  • No ads and no tracking scripts. Our host sets a technical cookie (ARRAffinity) that routes your requests to the same server; it holds nothing about you. Admins who sign in also get a sign-in cookie.
  • The crowd numbers we publish only appear once enough players have contributed that no one player can be picked out.
